The Fall of Sam Axe
Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 05:57 pmNow that my ISP switchover is done, it occurs to me I should follow up on last post.
Okay, that was actually pretty darned good. The BN writers did not shoot themselves in their own continuity, for which I am profoundly grateful and very pleased. Sam (as we all knew) is actually pretty good at operational stuff on his own, when he has to be. And they struck a nice balance between something SNAFU'd enough to get Sam booted back to civilian life, but basically sound enough to not make him look like a doofus in the process. Good work, writers. I liked it.
Also: No yogurt, but there was a gratuitous chainsaw moment for the old-school Bruce Campbell fans. ;-)
