And... I have collected my first rejection on my novel query.

Bummer, but I knew the odds when I clicked "Send". I'm not taking it personally; as the rejection letter and common wisdom both say, it may simply be the wrong book for this particular agent, whereas somebody else may fall all over it.

It's a perfectly polite form rejection, which I'm absolutely fine with; I'd far rather have that than "no response = no". And you certainly can't fault the response time.
