lizvogelThe cloned-salvage-lifesaver laptop is back in the shop; they did well, but wrangling Micro$oft activation for a no-longer-supported OS is not surprisingly a challenging process. They seem optimistic that they'll finagle something.
Meanwhile I'm posting this from Skippy, who can't process an update and desperately needs a full reinstall. But I'm not doing that without a second machine handy to download things.
