While I'm at it, you've all read Neil Gaiman's post on IP wills for writers and why you should have one, right?

Lol, are you kidding, BUSINESS PLANS, I'm there, possibly I think TOO MUCH about this (due to the number of imponderables out of my control).

I actually do have a will via lawyer and it does cover my IPs, but honestly I do not care all that much what happens to my writing after I die, which is probably a minority opinion.

I do not have a PLAN in the proper written sense, but thinking about writing-the-business as a separate thing from writing-the-craft, I grok. And I have the advantage of having been self-employed as a tech writer previously, so the general business-running stuff is familiar territory for me.

I don't have a will for either, and I really should get around to fixing that. Maybe now that the legal wrangling with the dishonest roofers is finally done, I can clear some executive function for it.
