Six weeks and counting
Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 04:26 pmI called the cable company this morning. The earliest day their schedule and mine coordinated for them to come out and install intenet access for us is next Tuesday, which, coincidentally, will be seven weeks since the DSL and phone went down.
I told the phone company it was a race. If they can get our service back up before the other company can set up new service, they get to keep us. If not, too bad. They "have everything arranged", but still can't give us a date beyond "almost certainly before the end of the month." This is clearly some different definition of "arranged" than I had previously encountered.
