NaNo, Day 22
Thursday, November 22nd, 2018 11:54 pm596 words today. Fuck it, I'm going to bed.
I got a small but decent chunk of words in this morning before hitting the road. I tried to write at the family Thanksgiving, but it's loud there. And the same words that weren't happening there weren't happening once I got home, either.
Managed to do a decent little chunk in a home-made word sprint, by skipping ahead to the next section and doing some setting stuff. (Must remember the home-made word sprint; focusing is easier when I promise myself it's only for 20 minutes.)
But now it's late, and I'm tired, and screw it. I gotta get some sleep. What I really need is three days off for the brain to recharge, but I don't get that. Sleep, I can get. It means falling farther behind, but I'll deal with that another day.

Date: 2018-Nov-24, Saturday 04:51 pm (UTC)It's the Every Day that's killing me. I've still got ideas and I'm even managing to have some fun playing with them, but the thought of sitting down and writing them makes my brain want to crawl out of my skull and hide under a pillow. I'm not an every-day writer by nature, and this month is a lot of playing against type.
