Okay, the combination of Brennan and Dead Larry does qualify as "worst nightmare" material.
And it just kept getting more so. Wow. Just... wow. Madeline. And Fiona. And Sam, leading the Marines' charge over the barricades. (Did Bruce Campbell pay them for that pose, or did they do it to make up for including his "dramatic running scene" in the opening credits?) And even Jesse, stepping up and being professional when it counts.
One does wonder what Michael was like in the field, that Dead Larry (sorry, I just can't call him anything else) is so convinced Michael will play his game. Not that Dead Larry isn't prone to, er, romanticize Michael's dark side, but you don't get that much conviction without some kind of foundation to base it on. And there must have been something that made Management think Michael was good recruitment material.
And the ending... wow. Not the cliffhanger I was expecting, certainly. Can't wait to see what they're going to do with that! (My theory: His bosses are going to use him to go after the network that burned him. Hang him back out there as a combination stalking goat and hunter.)
