lizvogelMy math skills continue to lead me astray. I am not ~2000 words shy of quota for the month; I am ~200 words shy.
Oddly enough, this does not make the target feel any more achievable. The reverse, if anything. I suspect the last couple hundred words would be an agonizingly final slog regardless; only now, it's a slog without the romantic drama of a herculean all-day effort (far more appealing in the theory than in the actuality) to warm up to it with.
Either way, I'd best get writing. But there may be a nap first; when coffee > sleep, brain function --> zero.
