Finished the story on Friday. A whopping 54 words under the limit (good grief!), which is just bizarre for me, but done is done, and all the bits managed to fit themselves in. "Done" partly courtesy of my back-brain waking me up at 5:00 am with the next line, and refusing to shut up about it. Apparently my back-brain is quite willing to work to deadline, but that doesn't mean it has to play nice about it. ;->

Initial beta-read is positive; secondary beta-read & review will be happening shortly. And then it's tweaks and formatting and out the door for Monday's mail, yes!
