Queryitis: Relapse

lizvogelI sent two queries today. That's the 14th's that I'd whiffed on, and yesterday's, just a little late. Which makes me sort of current, at least on that.
I'd thought to do three or more queries today, and get a little ahead of the game. But (though you can't tell it from my query letters) I put a lot of time into researching an agent to decide if they're someone I'd want to work with, and frankly I'm a bit burned out on it by now. All the interviews and forums are starting to blur together, and if I keep going I'm either going to decide against agents just to get it over with, or fling the box-standard query just to get it over with.
Neither being a good well-reasoned approach to my future career, I'm going to go eat hot dogs and watch Doctor Who instead. ;-)
